MAGALI TOCCO – GENERAL MANAGER
Magali moved here from France in 2009, and immediately started working at Batimat. After 6 years of occupying different positions within the company, 2015 marked her debut as General Manager. Outspoken and honest, exchanges with her employees, building relationships with Batimat’s partners, and being innovative are her biggest motivations. In her spare time, Magali loves playing sports, eating healthy, and discovering new wines!
MARTIN MORRISON – WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Martin has followed a long path with Emco, starting out as a warehouse clerk at the tender age of 16, when he was a student. After many years of experience at the company, he finally became Warehouse Manager, the position he holds at Batimat since 2011. Outside of the office, Martin’s life is devoted to his family, and the hopes of one day being able to go to the movies, being able to leave the city on the weekends, and enjoy the great outdoors.
VIOLETTE TARVERDIAN – ACCOUNTING OPERATIONS MANAGER
Violette eats cheques for breakfast, makes herself credit card salads for lunch, and takes a few $100 bills for dinner. Her smile is proportional to the payments she receives, or makes out. And her motto: Good accounts make good friends!
CHRISTINE ROUGÉ – EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Christine started her career at Batimat in 2011 as a sales consultant, but has, since 2015, occupied the position of Executive Assistant. Her spare time is dedicated to studying Human Resources Management. Christine likes team work, and respectful and altruistic people. Small revelation: she is an absolute clean freak!
CHANTALE HAMEL – SALES CONSULTANT
Chantale first came to Batimat in 1986, and it is from there that she built her career. It goes without saying that her expertise is one of her biggest strengths, allied with her excellent memory of details. An adept of design, she loves challenges and sharing her most interesting discoveries. Chantale loves travelling, good food, passing on her contagious laugh, but what inspires her the most, is art in all its forms.
CHRISTINA HARMANT – SALES CONSULTANT
Sales Consultant since 2000, Christina is someone who is both motivated and passionate about her work. She likes promoting new lines, as much as Batimat’s exclusivities, and is at ease with contemporary, rustic, and of course, classical styles. What Christina prefers above all is conceiving your “dream shower”, the one with the potential to become her clients’ favorite space of relaxation and healing.
CHRISTINE GAGNON – PROJECTS CONSULTANT
Drawn to Batimat because of her interests in design and architecture, Christine has been with us since 1993. All these years haven’t abated her enthusiasm. Extremely resourceful, her loyal clientele is able to benefit from her knowledge, expertise, and project management skills, in both the residential field, as much as commercial. A fierce adept of the outdoors, she keeps herself active in her spare time. Her clients’ satisfaction is her primary motivation!
ERIC LEE – PICK-UPS & RETURNS
Eric has been part of the Batimat team since June 2011. Throughout the years, he has worked at the service and parts counter, as Martin’s assistant, and now at the pick-up and returns counter. As he has shown here at Batimat, Eric has tackled many fields in the past, but learned quickly to stay away from anything to do with electricity! As an employee and colleague, Eric is always available, and always with a smile on his face.

GREG KYRIAKOPOULOS – CUSTOMER SERVICE
Having trained as a machinist, Greg moved on to become part of the Batimat team in 2004. Starting out on deliveries, he was quickly able to stand out at the service counter for his irrefutable knowledge of parts and solutions to any problem. It is with great patience that he takes time to explain the process surrounding each situation he encounters. His colleagues know him for his love of good food, of his family, of photography, cars, and to top it all, his precious naps.
GUILLAUME BOUCHARD-BONNEVILLE – DRIVER
Guillaume has been part of the Batimat team since 2011. As an avid lover of the road, it has never been an issue for him to spend his days roaming through Montreal and its surroundings, even in the earliest hours of the day. Guillaume’s favorite color is blue. He is a cartoon and video game fan, although he tends to steer clear of any new technologies!
ISABELLE ROYER – SALES DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM TRAINEE
Isabelle started at Batimat in March of 2016, after a maternity leave during which she decided to redirect her career towards one of her primary passions, interior design. Juggling her family, studies and work, it is with perseverance that she aims to develop her knowledge of the trade in every aspect of her life. During the course of her training, you will have the opportunity to see her around the showroom, as much as in the warehouse.
KARINE PERREAULT – OUTSIDE AREA MANAGER
Karine started her career at Batimat in 2013 as a sales assistant. Within a year, she began a position new to both herself and the company, as an Outside Territory Manager. Through this role, she has been able to reach Designers and Architects, in a more intimate and personalized setting, in order to better meet their individual wants and needs. Karine is a sociable person who is very passionate about her role at Batimat. Outside the office, Karine loves to spending time with family and doing outdoor activities such as camping.
MARIE-CLAUDE MAILLÉ – SALES CONSULTANT
Working in the kitchen and bathroom sphere for over 30 years now, Marie-Claude reassures hers clients throughout all the steps of the renovation process. She graduated for UQAM in environmental design, and was able to maintain her passion for her field of studies throughout her career. Marie-Claude can answer your most arduous questions, she knows her catalogs by heart!
MATTHEW CALABRESE – SALES CONSULTANT
Born and raised at Batimat, Matthew started working summers at age 13 and has been a full-time employee since 2006. During this time, he’s had the opportunity to experience all the different aspects of this company including shipping & receiving, deliveries, customer service, specifications, sales & coordination of special residential projects. Matthew represents a real asset to his customers, and especially to his Batimat family!
MAURICE MÉNARD – CUSTOMER SERVICE
Maurice has worked at Batimat since 2004, and has since become our technical support resident expert, with over 30 years of plumbing experience on his belt. For his colleagues, Maurice is the expert in plating, cleaning the coffee machine, and in his golfing technique. If his smile doesn’t charm you on the first encounter, you might swoon over his tattoos, or his extensive polo collection.
MÉLANIE FRAPPIER – SALES CONSULTANT
Mélanie has been part of the Batimat team since 2004. In her work, she relies on her strong organizational skills, as well as the particular attention she gives to her clients’ needs. Outside of the office, Mélanie is passionate about dance, design, and the moments spent outdoors with her family. Important thing to know about Mélanie, she absolutely hates shepherd’s pie!
RHITA RONDA – RECEPTONNIST
Rhita left the Moroccan sun to settle in Canada in August 2012, and started working for Batimat in November 2016. A graduate of Laval University since December 2015, this customer service enthusiast loves good human relations, teamwork, and cultural exchanges. During her free time, Rhita enjoys traveling, music, and outdoor activities.
RICHARD BRUNET – SALES CONSULTANT
At Batimat since June 2000, Richard trained as an environmental designer. His background makes him a curious, creative and visionary consultant, who always aims to use our most exclusive lines, without putting quality aside. You will discover with Richard someone who is very generous with his time, and above all, his advice.
SIMON BILODEAU – BUYER
Simon has been buyer at Batimat since September 1st 2011. Having mostly worked with computers and in customer service in the past, his new role in the company allows him to explore new horizons. Taking into account that Simon views the separation of his professional and personal lives as very important, he has agreed to reveal a bit of information about himself by sharing his appreciation of computer gaming.
YZLEN LORA – ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Yzlen left behind the sunshine of the Dominican Republic in 2004 to establish herself in Montreal with her husband. She, however, managed to find the strongest ray of sunlight right here, in the shape of her little boy, Sebastian. Yzlen has worked at Batimat since 2008, as support for accounts payable and receivable. What she loves about her work is the diversity in her tasks, the wonderful team, and the very pleasant work atmosphere.
